Are the Associated Students (AS) Bookloan books available from the library?

Yes!

Answer

Bookloan is a program previously offered by the Associated Students. In past years, they loaned these directly to students. During the pandemic, the library received this collection of books and lent these to students on behalf of Associated Students. Now, the Associated Students offer a book voucher program instead.

There are still a few remaining "bookloan" collection texts available for full semester checkout. To locate them:

  1. Use the 'Books & Media' tab for OneSearch from the Library website.
  2. Type the title of the textbook you are looking for.
  3. Book availability information, showing location (Rosenberg Library), status (Available), and borrowing period (Reserve Semester Book Loan)There may be several loan options available. AS Bookloan program titles circulate for the entire semester. They are labeled: Reserve Semester Book Loan
  4. Go to the library during open hours to check out the book. They are available on a first come, first served basis.

Please see the Associated Students Bookloan page for more information, and contact the library if you have any questions!
