What is the status of my book/computer/hotspot request?
Popular items may have a waitlist but many requests only take a few days to fulfill.
Answer
To look up the status of your library request, login to your CCSF Library Account with your RAM ID. Then, click on the "Requests" tab.
- If your request is "On Hold Shelf until xx/xx/xxxx," you should have received a notice to pick up your item in your CCSFmail account.
- A confirmation message is emailed to your CCSFmail account when items are ready.
- If your request is "In Process," your request is not ready yet.
- Once your request has been processed, you will receive a message to your CCSFmail account when items are ready.
- If your request is "In Process. Place in queue is: X," there are several people in line for this item, and your place in line is the number.
- Once it is your turn and your request has been processed, you will receive a message to your CCSFmail account when items are ready.
